You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Allow the adjustment of the no. of surveys/page on HIT DashBoard page.

The default for now is five, which is not many. It's really burdensome to go around the pages. The number of surveys/page should be customizable.

    • Allow users to view more than 5 HITS on their dashboard via optional display options

Being able to see more than 5 unique HITs on our dashboard seems like a relatively simple concept to integrate rather than requiring users to manually select from multiple pages worth of HITs.

You can now view up to 20 studies at once by changing the “Studies per page” dropdown on your Dashboard

      • Have demographic parameters as inclusion options for HITs

Right now, we can only limit our HITs to people from certain locations or with specific HIT completion/approval rates.

But it would be great if demographics factors are options too. For example, if a HIT is only looking for females of a certain age. There could be parameters limiting access to only females and within that age range.

        • Differential bulk bonus

Allow a bulk bonus procedure which enables a different bonus for every worker (maybe in in uploadable csv file with worker numbers and bonus amount for each one). This way requesters can easily create interactive experiments where the workers are payed according to their performance/decisions (enabling incentives for the workers which strengthens the ecological validity of the experiment).

You can find this new feature when you click on Grant Bonus on your study (click the link to the new feature at the top of the page)

          • allow the blocking of multiple responses from the same IP address and/or Location.

For some studies on MTurk, we find that even if we use Unique Turker code and "prevent ballot box stuffing" option on Qualtrics, we still have multiple responses that come from identical IP addresses and Locations. However, each response still has a unique MTurk ID.

We are not sure if these identical IP addresses and Locations are a result of a group of people doing the same survey in the same building (which is really not ideal for psychology studies, especially if they are able to talk among one another), or if they come from people who are able to…

            • allow requesters to see studies they create on TurkPrime on the Amazon MTurk platform.

My colleague used TurkPrime for a study, and although she could see all her past batches that she ran on MTurk, she could not see the batch she created via TurkPrime on Amazon Mturk. This obviously makes it more difficult for us to coordinate our research, so some of the people in my lab are hesitant to use TurkPrime because they are worried they will need to access batches created via TurkPrime through Amazon MTurk in the future.

All HITs that you launch through TurkPrime are (and always have been) visible to you on MTurk. Just click on the “manage HITs Individually” link on the upper right hand corner of the Manage tab. Or use this link
                https://requester.mturk.com/mturk/manageHITs

Please note that Micro-Batch HITs will appear as many individual HITs as specified when you set the Micro-Batch option

Of course, on TurkPrime the individual HITs of a micro-Batch are displayed as a single survey

              • Easily copy old HIT when designing new one

Ability to easily copy the specifications from a previous HIT when creating a new one in the Design Survey tab

                • Add a payment summary column in downloadable CSV

Add a column that shows how much each worker was paid in the downloadable CSV worker summary file you can download for each study from the Dashboard.

                  • Delayed HIT publishing

I like to publish my HITs at a certain time of day where the traffic is optimal (and so the completion rate is high) and the workers are focused (from my experience - around afternoon). As a requester based in Israel, posting mainly for workers in the US, I usually post my HITs late at night. As these are not my usual working hours, I sometimes forget to do so or simply can't as I'm not next to a computer (although I have done it numerous times through my iphone from a bar, albeit after a couple of drinks...). Having…

                    • Allow secret codes that are unique for each Mechancial Turk Worker

Secret codes that Workers must enter to demonstrate that they have completed the linked survey have a security issue: they can be shared by workers. If that were to occur, a worker who did not really complete the linked survey would be paid for a survey not completed.

Unique secret codes per worker will guarantee that workers don't share codes.

It would be great if unique secret codes could be auto-graded like fixed secret codes currently are.
